Will be a very sad day when we lose these comics, the last of a great generation we simply wont see again. Absolutely love the joke his broom, the one he had for years that had seen a few new heads and handles!!! Classic and genius writing.

Just out of interest, everyone I know agrees that that cannot therefore be his old broom. On the Royal Institution Christmas Lectures the lecturer referenced that joke stating that the human body replaces all its cells every few months so we are not the same "thing" as we were last year. Makes you think!

I guess I am the only person in the World that never watched Only Fools, saw an episode or two but never liked it. So tonight I went on You Tube and watched some bits and pieces from the show. Love David Jason from series where he was the farmer in Kent , drove a yellow roller and I remember Trigger from the Vicar of Dibbly, really enjoying the clips I was watching then turned on one where SIR David Jason was on the Paul O Grady Show. OK someone, ANYONE please tell me how Paul O Grady has a show, 30 seconds of listening to him and I was pulling my hair out , who in their rite mind could listen to him for an entire show, who is he, and how the hell did he get a show?
