KENT CRICKET

Very disappointing start to the season after all the talk of aiming high. We're well on the way to losing the latest game and the batting is really dismal. Time for Rob Key to concentrate on what he now does best (Lunch and TV); also don't think Northeast is ever going to fulfil his early promise. Our overseas 'contingent', such as it is, hardly sets the pulses racing either.
Get Mr Allen in there.

YYEESSSS it's cricket time, is the lime tree still inside the boundary at Canterbury?? Very ,poor start for Kent, come on lets get out of this division I can not comprehend that WE, K.C.C. are a second division side.

Its going from bad to worse...skittled twice by Alan Richardson, who is a middle-aged trundler. WTF !

Not so bad in the 50 over league though Rimshot.

We do need promotion but it's not looking too good is it.

We do seem to be able to produce a result in the YB40 but can't seem to find the form for the four day game. However, I am not sure that the pitch helped either side out in the LV County Championship game last week.

The big one this week, Essex vs Kent at Chelmsford.

Yup, that would be the YB40 over league.. Doh.

Thanks Gillsalltheway, I tend to get so hammered on the occasions that I go I clearly lose count.

@ gillsfan1066, the lime tree got blown over in a storm a few winters ago, not sure on the exact date!! The club also made bails and memorabilia from the old tree that were able to be purchased. Might still be available on the KCCC website. They have planted a replacement but not inside the boundary.

Another bad day, Tredders not many for quite a lot, it baffles me that his international form is so much better than for KCCC, or maybe it's just the format that suits him.

The season certainly hasn't got any better...and not a single Kent player features in the England setup or the development squad. Kent Cricket at an all-time low.
