I am currently playing Football Manager 2015 and I have just started a new Career Mode with HJK in The Finland Veikkausliiga (HJK's full name is Helsingin Jalkapalloklubi and I am not even going to try pronouncing that name :D ), I have always been interested in managing in League's that are different where there isn't £20,000,000 to spend on players and your having to generate your own finances by selling players that enables you to sign players that you want to sign.

I only had one striker in my entire squad so I have had to spend all my transfer budget on signing strikers who are proven in The Finland Veikkausliiga, and I have signed the following three players....

Aleksandr Kokko is 28 and has scored 69 in 179 games - I am signing him for £30,000

Toni Lethinen is 30 and has scored 89 in 279 games - I am signing him for £79,000 - he also has 14 strength on Football Manager which is very good.

Pekki Sihvola is 30 and he has scored 113 goals in 262 games, he will cost me £150,000 as I have signed him from my main rivals.

Normally the plan when managing in smaller league's is to sign young players and sell them for a profit, but I am not taking any chances by signing potential, I wanted three strikers who were already at clubs in The Finland Veikkausliiga who I know can come in and strengthen my squad.

I have played various versions of FIFA over the years but I am not that big of a gamer and I probably prefer playing retro gaming now and playing games that I remember playing when I was younger.

I like some retro games but my favourite (long before FIFA) was sensible soccer. I had it on the Atari ST and between GCSE revision me and a mate would battle it out (he had it on the Amiga). If you got it dead right you could steam a centre kick and pretty much score from it. Needless to say our battles started close and ended up as 30+ to nil trouncings! My favourite game suddenly doesn't seem all that great and modern games remove the embarrassment (a little at least).

Tried managing a football team once, after the initial picks I didn't do a single thing all year and finished I think third, easiest money I ever made.
Find it so funny that the participants in these leagues seem to actually think their managing or owning the dam team.
Ms Fanny Mulligan, you dear lady have much to much time on your hands, lol, a team from Finland that you can not even pronounce the name of, lol, lol, way way way to much time.

My favorite game when I was in high school was playing Need for Speed. After that in college, I evolve on online games like Cabal.
