Just come in from having to start my car. I have a car with a high compression engine ,great when it is running but once the temperature drops below about-10 C it's a complete beech to start. Just come in from starting the beech, 11pm, -18C degrees, and with the wind chill about -28C......... and still dropping.
Need a volunteer for the 4 am start ?

1066, just talk to it in that special way you have...if it has any sense it will start immediately. Alternatively a couple of rounds from the Glock ?

C man I know she put you up to this. Ever bought a house in the middle of summer, one advertised with a 1 1/2 car garage, but it does not mater because I will turn it into a 2 car garage befor the winter. I remember the look , followed by "That garage is mine", that "bit" is yours.
Tut tut tut woman , befor the snow comes that "bit" of mine will be somewhere on par with the Royal Albert Hall, alright minus the dome, but with about the same square footage.
Amazing how time flies, year here, year there, actualy got plans drawn up by a local company, and got round to applying for a permit, got a couple of estimates and three days befor the first big snow of the season myself aided by a couple of muckers constructed a wonderful free standing car port in the space where the Albert Hall would have been built if er,if, er if, well you know if the builder was not to busy doing other things for other people .
Amazing how a few aluminium poles and a bit of corrugated plastic could do so much damage to a car ,but I suppose the fun everyone had at my expense including the dealer (who is supposed to be a friend) made it worth while.
But no worries , as soon as the nice weather arrives the Albert hall is going up, in the mean time, any volunteers for the next couple of days, the weather warms up by Friday??

Exactly what use is a 1 1/2 car garage - who the h**l has 1 1/2 cars? Folk here tend to have whole cars ; not fractions of cars

Unless they have a Smart car as a second vehicle, that's half a car to me (and would definitely be should it slide off the road and make contact with a dandelion)!!!!

Smart cars aren't cars at all - they're the things you buy from Mothercare for the children when they are about 3

You're right there. I took mine back when the dealer said they don't come with a remote control!

Lol, I guess in the 40's when this house was built people only had one car, the half a garage was built to hold the family bikes, lawn mower, my dog house when I am in it, ours has the washing machine and dryer in it.
Smart car, one of the guys at work bought one , bright yellow size of a gold fish bowl, cost about the same as a Honda, the only time I ever went in it an 18 wheeler went past and I was convinced we were dead.

Evil cars. Cost twice the price of a large saloon for the priviledge of sitting in the boot. One simple prang and at best you'll never walk again.
