I kind of look at that final table and it comes home to me were not at the bottom of the " TOP LOT " ,were kind of top of the " BOTTOM LOT " .Turning 4 or 5 of those losses around to wins will not be easy , especially with teams like Sunderland, and Portsmouth Charlton sitting there not to mention Wednesday coming gown and Bolton coming up.
I hope Evans and Scully are at work looking to bring in new players for next year, and have put their summer vacation off until later in the month. I don't know if there is any money in the coffers to bring in players, or if as usual we will have to wait until a week or two before the season starts and get what's left ??
I thought we were going to struggle in the Goals For Department but it turns out it was the Goals against that really hurt us, stupid losses and draws against Burton, Northampton, The Shrews, The Wombles, I know we can't win them all but with The Gills it's always the same , go to Blackpool smack a brace past them, Draw with Sunderland, kick Lincoln's butts, beat Charlton, beat Ipswich, and in the middle a loss to Wimbledon .
Come on you Gills, some of us are not Spring Chickens anymore, we need to see a good FA Cup run into the fifth round, and a trip to Wembley next year for the playoffs.
