Which is why I am a bit disappointed with the Gills at the moment, it seemed a lot of our " new players " came through the ranks of some very good clubs, or perhaps I am wrong , as usual, lol ?

There are a lot but then I guess for every Egan who gets a second chance and works his way back to the top there are several others who fall to obscurity based purely on the numbers being released. It makes sense to keep tabs on them and pick up the odd gem as the chance of having a Dack coming through each season is remote as the top academies can cherry pick the best youngsters.
