I honestly have no idea what The Nations League is, what I do know is that as football started for the 2018/19 season, suddenly I have had one England v Spain game to watch., Scotland playing someone from somewhere, and a game where Someone and Waterlooville played someone else. What the hell is going on here, the Premier has played four games, and now the teams have not played for what ten days, I guess UEFA needs more money to bribe people,what a joke.

From what I can gather, it is designed to remove the need for loads of friendlies. These replace them and teams can be relegated and promoted from their respective "groups" or levels. How that works in reality I have no idea.
