It's amazing looking back, that teams had to be elected into The Football League, rather then Promotion and Relegation Between The Conference National and League Two.

We got turned down a number of times to be elected into the Football League. Had we not been re-elected in 1950 we would have had to fight our way in through promotion like now. Makes you wonder if we would still be non-league had that happened.

JJJEEEESSUUUSSS I thought we still were a non league team, we sure as hell might be following Orient the way this season is starting to pan out, someone ANYONE lets stop the insanity thats going on at GFC,we can't keep letting players go and replacing them with scrubs that have scored 10 goal in 10 years, and then say were in a re building mode.
