Maidstone FC

Amazed today to see Maidstone are only one division from playing real football again, and they have a new stadium right in the middle of town on bus routes and five minutes from a station, but the picture of the place makes it look as if at best a 100 people could get in the stands, they could never get into division two with that stadium could they ?

Yes. If Burton can take their 2,700 fans into Championship games.............!!!!!!! The toy pitch will be there biggest problem.

It only seems a couple of years ago I was reading they were trying to collect enough money from fans to buy a plot of land by the river to build a pitch, they were playing their home games at like Crewe or Wrexham ,or somewhere miles away.
Well done Maidstone, a chairman who wants to see his team do well. Would they if they got into the 2nd Division have to consider ground sharing with Gillingham ??
