Frightening forward line

Postby Garawa » Thu Feb 19, 2015 6:37 pm

According to Sky Sports, Bayern Munich played a 3-3-4 formation with a pretty scary forward line of Ribery, Robben, Gotze and Mueller and yet still came away with a 0-0 draw! That is a pretty formidable line and I don't know who you would set a defence to cope with 4 attacking players like that! How often does adding more attackers result in no goals though! In the last couple of seasons formations seem very fluid and barely resemble one particular set up. Even the Gills it has been hard to tell at times. It seems less is more sometimes!

Dack has been getting more and more forward and so to has McGlashan so maybe we have had a front four more often than not. Perhaps Bayern might like to swop for a game!
