Peter Taylor is pleased with the progress Hause has made, and he played 90 minutes for Wolves and kept a clean sheet in their win at Sheffield Wednesday.

This is the bit that stood out for me in that article.

The Gills have made full use of the loan system this season, to good effect.

On Tuesday, QPR sent a member of their backroom team to Gillingham to assess loanees Michael Doughty and Max Ehmer.

“They came see what we are doing with Michael and Max and it’s nice that we have that good relationship,” said Taylor.

“We always send DVDs to the clubs when we have their players and it is up to us to make sure the relationship stays good because there could be more players that we want later on.

“The loan thing for us, and the JPT, has turned out to be two good things for us this year.”

I hope we can form a decent partnership with QPR Because Michael Harriman signed for Gillingham last season and Max Ehmer and Michael Doughty have signed for Gillingham on loan this season, and if QPR are impressed with what we're doing and there players are getting regular game-time at Gillingham then there might be the possibility of signing another young QPR Player on loan until the end of the season when The Transfer Window Re-Opens in January.

I also hope that we can extend Max Ehmer and Michael Doughty's loans until the end of the season.

Kortney Hause and Adam Chicksen have played for Gillingham on loan this season, and been recalled to play in Wolves & Brighton & Hove Albion's First Teams, so we must be doing something right with these young players.
