Season Tickets

Postby lidbid46 » Sun Jul 14, 2013 3:36 pm

Has anyone heard about their new st yet? It says we have until July 25th to reserve seats for League Cup match; don't know how we can do that without a season ticket!

I'm sure Rob mentioned in another thread he had his. Unless it was an application.

Just phoned - apparently things have been held up at the printers; something to do with the sponsors. I seem to have heard stories like this before. Nothing ever seems straightforward for the Gills does it?!

That would makes sense actually as today "Papa Johns Pizza" was announced as the main sponsor. Just doesn't sound right in my book! Excuse the pun bit its a bit of a mouthful!

Some good news! It seems Papa Johns were not the main sponsors, just a big sponsor and Sky Bet have been announced as the title sponsor. That not only sounds better but is more relevant too. Even better is that as part of the new Sky package securing FL coverage there will be an increase of around 37 matches a season taking the total to 148 meaning there will more FL + cup games than Premier League!

I know Sky isn't everyone's cup of tea but at least it secures pretty decent coverage over the next 5 years.
