Move St Andrews Day from 30th November (miserable weather) to May 28th. The Scots celebrate in the dark - Saint, Burns and Hogmanay.
Make 30th November St Jimmy's Day. Patron saint of miserable, tight fisted, drunken, 'let's get the b******s' etc.
Here in Wales we need St Ianto's Day where we would take the p*ss out of ourselves so we don't get too serious about things
