Neil Harris departs

Postby Garawa » Thu Oct 05, 2023 6:59 pm

What a strange place we find ourselves in currently. It has been on the cards and many have called for it but Harris departs with a league win percentage this season of 54.5% and a record of 18 wins in 2023 giving him a win percentage of 51.4%. I guess it is the lack of goals of most concern, dropping to less than a goal per game despite creating more chances than before (3.64 shots on target per game). Brad Gallinson sounded quite upset at having to do the deed.

Keith Millen takes temporary charge.

Anyone heard any rumours about a replacement? Scott Lindsey maybe?

Who ever comes in is going to have to work with the players that Jackett and Hessy advised BG to sign. I hope we bring in a person or persons that are able to teach the forwards how to score ,they all seem to have forgotten that part of the game. The Brothers Cowley are unemployed at the moment , and I know there last position at Portsmouth didn't go well, but they have done well in the past. I hope Scally doesn't suggest to BG that Hessy should have the job, maybe Jackett is interested at least for the rest of this season. ?
