It looks like the Gills might have got that fifteen goals a season man in Macauley Bonne, some sites are saying he is already signed .

No sign of him yet! Seen in Gills training gear apparently, unless someone is guilty of wishful thinking.

That is an odd one because they saw him at the Gills open training session but, if they didn't want people to know, they wouldn't have him there for the sake of 20 minutes of so. They also had the goalkeeper working hard as cover for injured Morris and he looked quite good but no mention of him either. If we intend to run a B team, I can't see Holtam being cover for Morris and Turner as well as being the main 'keeper for the B team.

My bet is he is looking for a longer contract than the Gills are prepared to give him. I think coming here would be good for him , get back to his old goal scoring ways of a couple of years ago , could do a Tom Eaves for us.

A one or two year contract at Priestfield has to be better than a zero year contract with nobody doesn't it ?

I some how don't think only the Gills are chasing him,I am sure his agent is playing two teams at least against each other. Mind you the way the Gills are playing two wins out of two ,he better hurry up ,or we might decide we don't want him, lol.

Signed tonight! That is a seriously exciting signing in my opinion. Could be an important piece of a promotion chasing squad!

I saw loads of tweets from Gills people saying Bonne Appetite and I didn't get it! Made sense soon after.

I wonder if it was all about medicals. Clearly had full intention of signing but until that medical is passed any deal is off.
