Match on Saturday has been selected for live TV coverage. Is that good or bad?!

We don't have a good record, but then they tend to be evenings and our Tuesday night record wasn't great either. An early Saturday kick off may break the hoodoo. It has to go eventually.

My dear Mr.G, while you were still a twinkle in your papas eyes and I was in my early 20's, Gillingham back in the early 1970"s were playing the likes of Torquay, Brighton,Plymouth ,Aldershot,and Exeter on Southern TV on a Sunday afternoon,24 hours after the game had been played. Compelling watching considering we were only on once or twice a year for some unknown reason, which was pretty good considering we seemed to lose every time we were on. In those days dear people under about 40 there was only 3 TV stations, BB1,BBC 2 and ITV , so to actually have a TV crew come and set up a TV camera at our beloved Priestfield was something you had to watch,even though you knew the score.
How wonderful would it be if we could put all those loses behind us and kick Rotherhams Ass all the way back " OUP NORF ".
