That's good lots of time for the boys to relax and Evans to game plan for a Gills victory against Charlton. Shame there are off that day for the same reason, but they do play on Tuesday, so if he buys there game on the whatever it is called app, he will be able to see them play after the Gills have kicked an Arsenal U21 side to the curb , I am sure Charlton are going to field a strong team in the EFL trophy.

Gillingham players were worked overtime at the end of the week to allow them a weekend at home.

Their scheduled game against Lincoln City was postponed due to international call-ups and the rest has been well earned. They may also be relieved that they don't have to hear the manager singing any more, too, as he celebrated Scotland's big international win.

I guess with Lincoln City V Gillingham getting postponed On Saturday, the question is always going to be, whether Gillingham should have played against Lincoln City because Gillingham have built up some momentum in the last three games, or, if this mini season break has come at the right time and this break allows players who are carrying knocks to recover for The Charlton Athletic Game ???

It's never appeared to do us any favours in the last few times. Charlton are also on a fantastic run so any benefit for us will also benefit them. It has certainly helped Accrington in their long lay off however.
