IT'S A SIGN, A SIGN I SAY for Scally to move the team to Wales to become
LLANFAIRPWLLGWYNGYLLGOGERYCHWYRNDROBWLLLLANTYSILIOGOGOGOCH GILLS FC.
Well boyo at least we will hear some nice male voice singing coming from the stands.

Lovell is clearly happy at playing his local team but not many Gills fans are. Can we knock out the next South Wales side? Not sure we can do it again particularly away from home.

After watching the game,is that what they called the Manchester City / Burton Albion joke today, I am kind of glad we have got Swansea in the Cup,were in with a chance of a win and at least at worst we could only lose by 2 or 3 couldn't we ?
To think that Burton and City have to play again in Burton ,( wherever that is )in a second leg, I honestly think that once a team goes down 6 or 7 zip, the game should be called, and everyone sent home.
I don't know who was more embarrassed, the Burton players, the Manchester City players, the TV commentators or the people in the stands, what a debacle this was. GO GILLS.

Spot on 1066 - I live pretty close to Burton, and have to say they are our adopted "second"team", and last night's game was not a good advertisement. Fair play to the Mancs for treating the game seriously but was there a real winner ?

FA Cup Third Round: Gillingham V Cardiff City
FA Cup Fourth Round: Swansea City V Gillingham
FA Cup Fifth Round: Gillingham V Newport County

And In The FA Cup Sixth Round, Gillingham will be drawn away from home against the team closest to Wales, So maybe Bristol City if they are still left in the competition.

That would probably be Shrewsbury FOM , as of today , but they may go out tomorrow :-)
