Ok now lets get a couple of good preseason friendlies against Premier or Championship Teams, no reason not to play Brighton or Millwall, QPR or Fulham, need a couple of good games at the end of the pre season games.

Great way to tick off the true fans, unless of course there re doing the pitch or building a new Gillingham End Stand ?? Do we get a cut of the gate money when we play friendly's away from home, I mean that Faversham gate must be worth a couple of hundred bucks surly, hahaha ?

The Faversham game usually attracts around 1,000 fans.I think the Club are looking at protecting the Priestfield pitch.

Can't help thinking that letting kids in for free in a home game against a " named club, " like Fulham ,West Ham or Brighton would work wonders for getting new fans, but what do I know, hahahaha.

Did you see the video the club posted the other day? Looked like they were laying sand over the pitch. I presumed that the funday meant it didn't matter if the pitch got huge divots in as they were laying a new one. It was pretty lumpy and threadbare so now it seems we are not having a new one. So protecting it from friendlies is one thing but having a funday and marquees pushing into the turf (it was quite soft too) is another.

Hate these weak ass friendly's, not one game on the list I would bother to get out of bed for, can't help thinking we have a couple of good ones in the book that have not been announced yet.
