Last Home Game To Be Postponed ???

There is a very good chance that Saturday's Home Game Against Rotherham United will be postponed, and this got me thinking about the last time A Home Game At Priestfield Stadium has been called off.

We had one a couple of Christmasses ago. I say Christmas, it was mid-December. Can't remember who against but it was called off in the morning (I think).

Saturday January 8th 2010, Gillingham V Tranmere Rovers, January 4th 2010, Gillingham v Lincoln City, last ones I could find that had been cancelled because of snow, lots for a frozen pitch, even Ady Pillocks first game as manager was postponed because of ice or snow ?

No afraid not. I have 2 assignments to somehow write whilst the kids are off on Easter holidays as well as starting research for the new Gills book so won't have time to research games we didn't play lol

And there lies the problem, just maybe , just maybe the last game postponed because of snow may have led to something special for the Gills,the extra weeks rest may have led to the time when we started that fantastic FA Cup run the year we beat Manchester Utd in the final 3-1, and I scored a hat trick ,I often drift off to sleep thinking about that game and how great I played.
