What happened to Eaves yesterday? Clearly the tactics were miles wrong yet it was Eaves that was taken off before half-time when we needed 2 goals to get level. He wasn't injured as there was no handshake and ran off down the tunnel. Very strange.

Pooped his pants, had Burritos for breakfast . Seems there was a lot of arguing going on amongst the Gillingham players and young Mr.Eaves appears to have been in the middle of it.

The only thing I can think of which makes any sort of sense is the fact that Tom Eaves is on nine yellow cards and he is one booking away from a two match suspension, If Tom Eaves was tired because of the effort we put in against Shrewsbury Town On Tuesday Night, then maybe it would of been better to name Tom Eaves as substitute and then look to bring him on when we were chasing the game at 1-2.
Five Games In Quick Succession with two mid-week away trips to Northampton Town and Shrewsbury Town have clearly taken there toll and not having a league game today will help, and there is a very good chance that this weekend's match against Rotherham United will be postponed, and maybe that would be a good thing, because it will give our players a much needed breather for the important games we have got coming up over the next month, and Gabriel Zakuani picked up a knock before being substituted at half time, So I am hoping that Zakuani's injury isn't a bad one either.

Seems odd to start him only to sub him before half-time though, especially when 2-down.
