On the contrary: an excellent opportunity to get through to round 3 - remember what that is?

I think we needed Maidstone,or the winner of Billericay / Leatherhead at home and a 1-1 draw, then a 2-1 win away, lol.
It would would have been a televised game so 36,000 pounds from the TV company, plus another 18,000 for the replay , ( 54,000) we would have had a gate of say 7 or 8,000, ( picked up another 50,000) another 30,000 prize money for winning round 2, total of about 134,000 quid in the bank, against Carlisle were going to get a gate of say 5,000 at best,no TV revenue and when we win a total of 70,000 at best.
Yes were going to beat Carlisle my bet for the 3rd round draw, Burton or Brentford away, lol, lol. Just me trying to justify why we never seem to get anything " GOOD " happen at GFC, lol........................GO GILLS.

We were never going to get a clamour tie until the big boys come in.I`m happy with the draw as it is again against lower league opposition, with a decent chance of reaching the third round.I`m pleased it is at home! Carlisle on the other hand will be gutted as it is a 644 mile round trip,it is cold and near Christmas, and against a side in a higher division.
