NOLBERTO SILANO 4/1 favorite, via Newcastle and other teams ,managed Uniersitario in Peru for 33 games ,won 12/ drew 8 /and lost 13 OK sounds great , international manager that has not managed since 2012, oh yeah he's the guy we need someone who is clueless about the third division of English football.
Nigel Adkins seem to be available,(we should start a fund to bring him here) so does Owen Coyle, but would Scally put his hand deep in his pockets to pay them and bring Gillingham FC success ???

If you won the lottery first you could help finance Gills' rise to the Championship. ;)

The right decision with the poor run of results, and lower crowds. He leaves with the worst win ratio at the club as well. It`s a shame it never worked out,and the budget being a lot lower doesn`t help either. As for a replacement I would love to see Cotterill or someone like that come in,but the budget surely isn`t there for them.Hopefully we wont go down the club legend route,I just want someone who is an outside appointment with his contacts and staff.

James McIntyre and Billy Dodds, they were sacked today from Ross County in the Scottish Premier Division, I would have them at the front door of Scallys office tomorrow at 9 am for an interview.

Solano is still the favourite in the odds, but Maidstone`s manager Jay Saunders has jumped up quite a bit.I don`t think we would go for another inexperienced manager straight away.

Jay Saunders is fortunate where he is at Maidstone, in as much as they are quite a wealthy club for their level and he seems to be able to sign whoever he wants. It'd be different for him at Gillingham. As long as I've supported Gillingham it's been impossible to know who the right man is until he takes charge and we have seen the results. We need a manager who understands the limitations of players at this level, who can work wonders with a budget of relative peanuts.
