Happy clocks go back day so it must be Spring, ignore the white stuff outside not really snow, now where's my golf clubs ?
Ok it seems we played a good game yesterday everyone says so, Lidbid , Kezz, etc, great noisy crowd of over 10,000, so my question is..... why did we only manage to put two in the tank, seems we should have had a hat full against the worst team in the division ?

It should've been 3or4 at least in the first half. Why didn't they go in? That's football. As Noircat said, it was a tricky last ten minutes or so, but hey that's us. Never do it the easy way!

Sometimes a 2-1 says "we got away with that one" - Man U v Sheffield Utd or Bayern Munich from years ago spring to mind with last minute equaliers followed by a winner.

This was the opposite, cruising at 2 up with a number of chances before they grab a consolation.

Your rite they sprang forward, yours don't go forward till the end of the month ? Good for us, means we get an extra hour in bed on a Saturday mornings, games for the next couple of weeks starting at 7.45 not 6.45.

Let's be honest, we were pretty ordinary for the last half hour, lucky not to concede a penalty too. Happy ? Oh yes we are !!!

I think I have far to much time on my hands , already I am to worrying about about next year, I thought we had a team that would be able to at least be a good mid table 1st division team , but I don't think we have.
Everything is wonderful in GFC land, I know that, were NUMBER ONE, going up as Champions, but since the end of January we seemed to have looked "ordinary."
Maybe M.A. planned it this way, run the first half flat out, slipped the car into neutral and let it cruise to the finish line, but dam it makes for 90 minutes worth of worry , even 2-0 up this weekend, controlling the game against a poor team, I had that "feeling" that things could go wrong, and it all most did, but that's the point almost did, but didn't, so Gills world is a wonderful place this morning.
