How we keep the momentum I don't know but hats off to you sir, great job and loved every minute of it. Just wish I was in the Rainham End. League 1 football should help get them going I suppose!

I would bet some of them will be when we go up and play attractive football in Division One next year. According to ESPN, attendance was an almost a sell out 10,282 . I assume only a few hundred were Plymouth supporters ,was it a nice sunny day in Gillingham, or was it the fact it was Plymouth, a team with a bit of past glory and a team we don't play that often, or has promotion fever hit the Medway Towns?
Three away games in 8 days, by the time we get home and play Stanley we should be well on our way to going up as Champions. Well done one and all

Well said Chicago. The reason for a couple of thousand more being there was GFC distributed sets of family tickets to schools in the area. The take up was huge. More importantly we had a great crowd and we gave them a good game, hopefully many will come back. Great to see the Town end alive again too.

It was and that is the only way the next batch of fans will bother to come. However there was no way 10,000 in that ground! Even the media team said the same. Maybe 9 or 9 and a half at a push.

I thought the same Gary - 9000 at the most. For there to be 10000 plus the ground would have to be virtually full. The Town end was not full, neither was the away section and there were plenty of empty spaces in all other stands, including the RE by the way. Do they add season tickets holders who do not attend? There were a fair few of those around me. Never mind, atmosphere was great and apart from the last few minutes, it was a much more enjoyable afternoon.

Medway stand had plenty of capacity too, however, it was a decent crowd. I can't agree with a lot of the posts about the game as a whole though, I thought we were poor in the final half hour of the match and lucky not to concede a second goal. They had two very decent shouts for a penalty, especially the handball.
Plymouth are now rock bottom but you would never haver thought an entire division separated the two sides.
I was very happy to hear the final whistle.

Still a good crowd, I guess they counted the freebies as given, sell 5,000 tickets, add 3,000 season tickets, allot Plymouth a 1,000 tickets, donate to schools etc 1,250 and befor you know it, Ladies and Gentlemen the gate today is 10,250, lol.
I think Bradford have got it rite, sell 11,000 tickets a game and fill the place up, sell more pies and beer well teas as well.
