Gills have signed Tomas Holy, a 25 year old goalkeeper from Sparta Prague, on a 2.5 year deal. Will be interesting if he starts straight away (think Nelson is carrying a knock and could be rested) and is an impressive signing albeit probably are in need of defenders and a goal-scorer more urgently!

I think they need to get his international clearance through before he can play.

He had been on trial for a couple of weeks,and he has massive height at 6ft 9! Looking at his youtube video he looks a good player.This signing will keep Nelson on his toes,and with him carrying an ankle injury it means he can be rested should he need to soon.

You say Mr.L, set off on Wednesday to go to todays game in Sheffield, ended up following the 4 out of Paris, found the 1 and thinking that it was the M1 , followed it and ended up in Prague ??
Well never mind,two good things have come out of this,firstly we have a guy that can stand in the middle of the goal and touch both posts, and secondly anyone going to todays game in Sheffield without a ticket will be able to go to WILL CALL and get Mr. L's ticket ,after all my bet is he is busy trying to find his way out of the city of Khmelnytskyi in the Ukraine about now.

I have to say that Nelson nailed his colours to the mast today; probably kept us in the game in the first half

It was a long trip Gillsfan but well worth it. Not everyday one gets to rub shoulders with a 6 foot 9 inches man. Those nine inches make all the difference. Mrs L is very excited; I've had to get another restraining order.
