Lightning cant strike twice can it? CAN IT?!

A lot has been said about the club closing the Rainham End for the game due to potential ticket sales. We can't pay extra to have half empty stands so it makes sense but nobody seems to realise we are potentially getting a crowd number equivalent to a Tuesday League Cup tie! It seems many of our fans have no interest in any of the cups. Only 1 of our 5 cup games have been played at home this season and that was in the FLT that everyone was boycotting! Then fans said they weren't interested in League Cup games calling it a "Mickey Mouse" competition - clearly confusing it with the trophy. Now it seems they can't be bothered with the world's greatest club competition that is about to get even bigger over the next few years so they can hardly moan at the club for not having all 4 sides open when half can't be bothered to turn up!

After that performance in The Cup I would think the next home game against Division One Northampton Gillingham will only need to open one stand, maybe only one end ??
