A good double signing given we cannot bring in any loan players until January. Nouble is a good one as he has apparently been training with us but not sure about Herd as he doesn't appear to have done much of late. We need numbers, O'Hara leaving has freed up contract money so lets hope they are fit for Saturday so we don't have to play 10 midfielders in a bizarre formation lol.

He came straight in so I don't know where he has been because we can only sign players that are not contracted to a club whereas Nouble has apparently been training with us and was then given a contract when deemed fit enough I guess. I know Herd has been at a few clubs lately without doing much but we won't go there as we've been bitten that way before.....he sounded very lively in this evening's game so hopefully he will be a useful addition. The only thing that concerns me is that the club say he can play defence, he is listed as a midfielder and played tonight IN MIDFIELD. Nouble is also technically a wide player and therefore will find himself in midfield (an area we certainly don't need ANY more players in) but can play up top a bit like Jet. Edinburgh needs to be clear what he wants and what we need!

Chris Herd has been a good player, playing 42 games in the Premier league with Aston Villa. He is also a Socceroo which obviously makes him special. He is also still quite young, however, he is also very injury prone. He's a Western Australian from Perth who went from here to Villa's academy. In the close season, about May/June, he signed for Perth Glory on a freebie, we don't buy players in our league. Big things were expected but about two months ago without arriving here, Glory cancelled his contract by mutual agreement. Apparently his wife had business arrangements in England so they didn't want to come out. So Glory's loss, Gills gain. Amazing that a player goes from one of my teams to the other considering the geography and standard. I would think that if he could stay fit he would be an extremely good asset for you.I know it was only injuries that stopped him getting more caps and his aim was to get fit at Glory to revive his career. Best of luck with him.

That's amazing Bunbury, you would never have thought it. Apparently he was good in the last away game but he was my man of the match before he was subbed as he looked very strong at right back.
