The fixtures have been announced and the Gills will start and end their campaigns away from home and have no home fixtures over Christmas either!
Our first home match of the season will be against Bury and our first meeting with a promoted side as when we travel to AFC Wimbledon on 1st October. We will play Charlton at home on the 22nd of October and away on Easter Monday. Our final home game (Fleetwood) will be the penultimate match of the season before ending it away to Northampton.

The fixtures can be found here viewtopic.php?f=25&t=2476 and as always each match will have a link taking you to the relevant match thread.

Southend away is a good start with a big away following.August looks a good month, but September looks tougher.Millwall away on new years eve could get messy! Not sure why League 1 finishes in April, but the others don`t?

Because like the old song by Billy Preston from 1973 said...................Thats the way God planned it.
Middle of March to the end of the season looks like it could be another tough finishing nine holes for the Gills, bunkers everywhere, Bolton, Millwall, Charlton, MK Dons (stupid name once the drop the Dons bit they will start winning again ),even Peterborough, looks like another tough finish.

Justin Edinburgh believes the club’s fans can help them get their season off to a flyer.

Why , does it mean anyone turning up with a Gills Shirt Shorts,Socks and Footie Boots gets to play in the game, going to be a packed mid field if nothing else.
Maybe Scally Wag has got him on a pay by ticket sold salary for the 2016/17 season.
