Will Gills get the final play off place?

At 4:52 the Gills saw their promotion dreams crash as they lost 2-1 at Burton, dropping to 8th and 4 points off the play offs. 11 minutes later, Colchester, in the 8th minute of stoppage time, scored an unlikely equaliser away at Barnsley and with only 10 men on the field. Suddenly the Gills were now just 2 points away from the play offs with Scunthorpe joining the fray for a final game three-way on Sunday!

So what are the permutations? The Gills HAVE to beat Millwall and our better goal difference means that despite being 2 points worse off, only a win for either Scunthorpe or Barnsley would guarantee that they would take the final spot! The matches to watch are:

GILLS v Milwall
Wigan v Barnsley (Wigan are the champions and will be celebrating a title)
Sheffield Utd v Scunthorpe

Should the Gills do the unlikely then I can see Walsall (away to Port Vale) sneaking the last automatic spot and the play off would be against Burton (who travel to Doncaster)! Somehow, it looked all over far more than it does now even though we are further away! Going to be a very nervy Sunday lunch!

As a gambler I would say they are more likely to beat Millwall at home, than Barnsley are to beat Wigan away, I would put a tenner on a Wigan win , and I would put a tenner on Scunny drawing with Sheffield, but that game scares me after all if Gillingham are going to beat Millwall ,then maybe Scunny beats Sheffield, so at the end of the day I want to say yes we will grab that last spot, but pulling the trigger is very difficult and I have this horrible feeling that no we won't.
Where is Mrs.L when I am all upset and confused and need a cuddle ??
Heads should roll at GFC if we don't, and I have a feeling we will lose at least one or two players to bigger clubs this summer, and they will not be easy to replace.
