The news just gets better and better doesn't it, who DID organize International Friendly's with just 8 games or so of the season left, the promotion race wound up like a tight spring, the GILL'S decimated by injury's, and Williams going off to play (or sit on the bench ) for a Wales /Nth. Ireland and Ukraine/ Wales friendly's, how many players have to be called up before the Bury game can be postponed, two ??
We have other players who are from Wales, Nth Ireland ,German ,Ireland , and Hessy's kid looks as if he might have a bit of foreign in him, someone check where his grandparents were from, the Faroe Islands are playing a friendly and St Vincent and the Grenadines are playing a World Cup qualifier, just one look at that lad and you can see the square jaw, that weather beaten face, those rugged looks of a fisherman from the area where the warm waters of the Caribbean meets the mighty Atlantic Ocean, I will guarantee you thats where he is from, and they need players desperately, one of there best forwards forwards plays for the Magpies................not not Newcastle United, the other Magpies..... Maidenhead United .
So problem solved, Walsall off, Bury off, Gills players all fit and ready to go by the time the Coventry game comes around.

It does seem very strange that clubs can get games called off; they know who they are signing and that they are potential internationals. It's not the other club's fault that their opposition have internationals and can easily upset promotion or relegation issues. I know three people who can't go to the rearranged home game so clearly the attendance will be down and I hate night games; they finish way after my bed time and Mrs Lidbid won't make my Horlicks when I get back!
