So Walsall's manager Dean Smith have moved to sunnier climbs and QPR are in talks with Burton over taking Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink off their hands. This must surely lead to some disruption paving the way for either Coventry or the Gills to surge ahead (providing we also don't end up in the same predicament). Will it help or not make a difference?

Brentford. There's a few Championship sides looking for managers so hope they find them soon without bothering us! JFH looks certain to leave for QPR and Fulham are also in the market for a manager. I would imagine Leeds would need one soon as well as they have had theirs for a month now!

So far Walsall have responded well to losing Dean Smith with a 1-3 win at Shrewsbury.Long-term it is about the appointment they make to replace him,and if they can keep the likes of Sawyers & Bradshaw there after January.I think Burton losing JFH would hit them harder with them being a smaller club and maybe less likely to replace him with anyone as good.I`m happy so far we have managed to keep Justin Edinburgh here.I`m sure once JFH goes Justin would be the next man on peoples lists.

I agree. I fully expected either Dack or Sawyers (or both) to be off in January and now I would DEFINITELY think Sawyers will. Brentford perhaps?

Jimmy Floyd has joined QPR, I wonder if that will have an effect on our next game.

Usually players play up for the new manager to cement their places but I can't help but think they have been overachieving as JFH has got the very best out of them. I doubt such a good manager with possibly their best period in history going will have anything other than a negative effect. It may exacerbate their one main issue of scoring goals unless the new guy does the very same things.

So Clough has rejoined Burton, I hope his ego is big enough to want to change things there, and upset the players.

Fingers crossed. They are very different characters to hopefully their football is as well and the players take time getting used to it!
