FA Cup re-arrangements

Away to Stevenage. With Gills flying high as one of the "biggest" teams in the draw and Stevenage managed by Teddy Sheringham I reckon the interest and potential for cup upset may move this match. As 10 of the 40 ties get moved on the Sunday anyway along with a live match on the Friday and another on the Monday, the potential for a non-Saturday game is large. Should the match get moved to after the Saturday then it looks as if the Football League Trophy on the Tuesday will also be moved.

Could have been worse I suppose. A lot of League 1 sides will be going out from all the League 1 "derbies"!!!

Sure hope the game is going to be on TV here. They always have the lowest team on the pyramid playing, so that means the Didcot /Exeter game will be on, and I bet the Sheff Utd/ Woooooster City game will be on, then hopefully the Gills play Sunday . Being selfish, lol, playing golf on the Saturday in a tournament called Survival, the last couple of years it's been about a degree away from going from rain to snow, thank goodness for nice hot alkamoholic drinks.

It has been confirmed today that our game will not be one moved for TV purposes and will be played on the Saturday. Interestingly the Maidstone v Yeovil match has been moved to the Sunday for the goal updates show but their trip to Priestfield 2 days later remains in place.

It looks like Yeovil are not staying in Kent either.Apparently they will be making two trips.

With their precarious league position either they have a very large squad or they have virtually given up on the JPT! Maybe I'm being disingenuous and they will be playing a reserve team against non-league Maidstone lol.

It's a three hour drive from Yeovil to Gillingham , you make it sound that their cycling to Rome . They leave at 2, sleep most of the way here, arrive by 6, kick off 7.15, game over at 9, back in the old charabanc nursing an ass kicking by the mighty mighty Gills by 10.30 , home with no stops by 1.30 , not even a 12 hour day, must be nice.

185 miles in 3 hrs would take some doing, throw in the M25 for good measure and you've got no chance.
