Saw him give an interview sometime in the season and the Interviewer asked about him moving on. Allen was quite candid. Said that he had chased the big money move to Leicester and that didn't work and he was prepared to stay at Gills to test himself and see how far he can take us. Lets hope so!

I wrote to Martin a few weeks back congratulating him on achieving Promotion,and four days later he sent me a card saying thank you for finding time to write to me.He said we will be stronger next season.

Stronger? We had a side full of good League 1 players in League 2 so I assume he is hunting championship players! Very exciting times, hope we are keeping within our means though! Just out of interest, anyone know what sort of prize money (if any) is on offer for winning the league?

Sorry to add to pointless rumours but I have been sucked in. My window cleaners have just left my house and they are so sure and tell me that Martin Allen is going to Wolves, a friend of a friend who knows someone etc etc.
However I have looked at the Wolves web site and I believe that they are only just compiling a list of potentials for Team Coach, MA may, as a guess, only be on their wish list, is not so surprising. I hope he stays at Gills and that this is all rubbish. Anyone heard this story?

Definitely Mad-Wolf. Would be worse if he went to Aston Villa (Mad-Villan). He could be his own Marvel comic super hero if he went to Sheffield United, or an infamous Victorian murderer if he went to Burton not to mention he could be Poshgill if he went to Crewe, lol.
