So the Gills have decided not to appeal the read card after all. Having viewed the incident (almost out of camera reach) I saw about as much as I did at the match (ie not a lot as it was about as far away as any part of the pitch is from me). However, although he did appear to catch the Bradford player, he didn't take him out for such a challenge otherwise the player would have gone flying. He didn't, he went down after Wilkinson slid past him and he was running back pretty sharpish after.

I thought Conor had a good game and gave us strength up front.

Yes, I thought Wilkinson was having a good game. My view was he didn't touch the player. I followed the ball after he slid past him, so was surprised to see the player go down.
It wasn't a very clever thing to do though, especially where it took place on the field. I think he was just frustrated and trying too hard, as the match was slipping away..........
