League cup draw

The Gills are seeded in the southern half of the draw and the fixtures will be announced at 1pm Wednesday.

SOUTHEND v GILLS!!!
As ALWAYS it seems, that fixture will be played twice in 4 days! And IF Stuart Nelson does leave us to go there............!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Southend , have we ever played them before , yawn, boring, boring, boring ? Please someone, Mr. Scally, Sir, Mr. Glasgow ,Sir please get us back to the Championship Division I hate even looking at the fixtures in the First and Second Divisions year in year out, just bloody deptessing

Southend away twice in 4-5 days! Any bets on getting them in the FA Cup,and League Trophy like Bristol City?

We won't be facing Nelson but Glash will be looking forward to his first few games for Southend!

As soon as I saw The Opening League Fixture Away To Southend United, I did think that we were going to be drawn against Southend United and when Southend United V Gillingham was drawn, I just knew Gills were going to play against Southend United.
At least we're not away to Plymouth Argyle this time.
