Looks like we want a target man,so someone like Abraham of Chelsea or Waring of Stoke would be good options.

The lack of A Target-Man, failing to replace John Marquis and releasing Leon Legge meant that Gillingham couldn't knock it long as a alternative option, there were times where Leon Legge was thrown up-front in the latter stages of matches to cause havoc in the opposition penalty area, and Gillingham need that physicality in both boxes.

All our striking options, Cody McDonald, Rory Donnelly, Dominic Samuel, Luke Norris and Elliott List, they all wanted to play alongside someone who can win the aerial battle, I know Adebayo Akinfenwa is available on a free transfer, but we seem to be going down the route of signing younger players who have something to prove.
